Accessibility

An adventure everyone can join

Kavrous Technologies, LLC is working to make BraveQuest easier to use for people with disabilities. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our improvement target and consider accessibility as we build and update the app.

What we are improving

  • Keyboard navigation, visible focus, and links to skip to the main content.
  • Labels for forms and controls, screen-reader announcements for results and errors, and accessible dialogs.
  • Readable text across all four adventure themes, layouts that work on smaller screens, and browser zoom support.
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences and support for system high-contrast settings.
  • Ways to complete tasks without a camera, including typed reward codes and written quest notes.

Ongoing work

We review key parent and child workflows using browser checks and continue to improve barriers we find. Automated checks cannot establish full accessibility. Testing with assistive technology and feedback from people using BraveQuest remain part of our ongoing work. We have not completed an independent accessibility audit and do not claim that every feature meets every WCAG criterion.

Request help or report a barrier

Please use our contact form for an accessibility / ADA request. You can request assistance completing a task, suggest an improvement, or ask for information in an accessible format.

If possible, tell us the affected page or feature, what you were trying to do, and your device, browser, or assistive technology. Those details are optional. You do not need to share a diagnosis or medical information. Tell us what assistance or format would help, and provide an email address so we can respond.

We review accessibility requests and use them to guide fixes and assistance. If the form itself is a barrier, someone you choose may submit a request on your behalf.
